What Is MTM?
MTM stands for Medication Therapy Management. It is a review of all your medication, disease state, and desired outcomes, providing you with tailored advice for better results.
There are two types of MTM:
- Clinical MTM – Focused strictly on clinical outcomes, without reviewing costs.
- Cost-effective MTM – Focused on therapeutic alternatives regarding cost, requiring knowledge of all available drugs in a class.
What Does MTM Cover?
MTM covers all medications including prescription, over-the-counter, vitamins, minerals, and vaccination review.
We share findings with your primary care provider unless you choose otherwise. Many insurances cover MTM, and we also offer cash MTM options.
Clinical MTM $80
Covered by most insurances. Applies to MTM requiring more than an hour of pharmacist time.
Cost-effective MTM $150
Not covered by insurance. Includes Clinical MTM and goes beyond with therapeutic cost alternatives. Example: Sildenafil 20mg tablet program.
Medication Synchronization (Med Sync)
Med Sync is a free program to improve adherence by allowing you to pick up all your medications on the same day each month.
It prevents multiple trips, multiple calls, and gives you a scheduled pharmacist check-in once a month. Medications from our Extended Supply Generic Drug Program can also be synced.
Step 1: Enroll
Talk to our pharmacist about joining Med Sync. We’ll review your medications and create a plan.
Step 2: Scheduling
We call you a week before to confirm any changes and finalize your sync date.
Step 3: Preparation
We prepare your medications in a single packet for pickup or free delivery.
Step 4: Monthly Review
On pickup day, our pharmacist meets with you to review and answer any questions.
